She had choked on the pork delicacy ‘moo ping’ and sticky rice in March 2022 and had lapsed into a coma due to a lack of oxygen. She had been on life support for the previous three months. Karbdecho, better known as “Lollipop Girl,” was hurrying to complete her supper when the food became caught in her throat. She was transported to the hospital, but doctors claimed she was “nine minutes too late” since her brain had already been depleted of oxygen. The popular online personality fell into a coma and was kept on life support until she died on Monday, June 6.
Supicha Karbdecho, Karbdecho’s mother, claimed the model, known online as “Alicebambam,” was constantly active. She became a cosplayer and rose to prominence on TikTok as a result of her fan-favourite short videos. Her videos earned tens of thousands of likes, and she rose to fame on the internet in 2016 for wearing figure-hugging Pokémon t-shirts. Since then, she has cosplayed a variety of anime and video game characters.
Sirikanda Chaiburut, Karbdecho’s friend, said a wake would be held for the late celebrity until June 10 and she will be laid to rest on June 11. “Everyone who knows Arisara is devastated,” a tearful Chaiburut added. “We were all surprised when the tragedy occurred, but we were all hoping she would recover.” She was very young and lovely. “I’m heartbroken that she’s gone forever,” she continued.
What Do We Know About Her Work?
Karbdecho first rose to prominence in 2015, when she competed in a weight-loss competition that offered competitors 100K baht ($4,000) for every kilogramme lost. Shane Thana, the owner of the supplement and functional food firm Amado Thailand, reportedly challenged her to shed 10kg in three weeks and collect 1 million baht ($29,000).
According to Coconuts Bangkok, the challenge was probably inspired by guys who felt “cheated” when they discovered she was larger than they had assumed. Nonetheless, according to Taiwanese commercial television broadcasting firm TVBS, Karbdecho lost seven kg in 22 days, reducing from 65kg to 58kg without any medical supervision.
Condolences and Messages
Karbdecho had a combined Facebook and Instagram following of more than two million people at the time of her death, and followers flooded her accounts with messages of sadness and condolences. “I would like to advise other youngsters to take excellent care of their health, eat on time, and get adequate rest,” Karbdecho’s distraught mother Supicha said following her daughter’s sudden death.
