The second season of tvN’s Alchemy Of Souls, one of the most popular K-dramas of 2022, features a magnificent cast that includes Lee Jae Wook (Jang Uk), Go Yoon Jung (Naksu/Cho Yeong), and Hwang Min Hyun (Seo Yul).
Season 2 Summary
A time leap occurs in Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow as the story begins three years after Jang Uk obtained the ice stone. As the hunter of soul shifters in this season, Uk shows no mercy.
Even after everything, Jang Uk laments continuing to live and claims that “my mere existence is a sin.” He is referred to as a “monster” who prowls around looking for other monsters to hunt (soul shifters). But despite all this, Jang Uk is still holding the Naksu sword. Soon after, Jang Uk runs into Naksu in a different shape, but the two have trouble recognising one another.

There will be ten episodes in all in “Alchemy of Souls” season 2. Every week, the K-drama will air on tvN on Saturday and Sunday at 9.10 p.m. KST/7.10 a.m. ET. The programme will later be available on Netflix with English subtitles. The second season’s climax will air on January 8, 2023.
