Despite having a successful singing career, the 26-year-old is still fairly young to the film and television industries. He landed a role as Nam Sang-soo in the Japanese film Their Distance (2015), and his performance in the musical stage drama Marie Antoinette earned him Best New Performance at the 2019 Stagetalk Public Choice Awards.
However, it wasn’t until his portrayal as Go Eun-taek in Live On (2020-21) that he absolutely broke out.
