Alchemy of Souls Ending Explained: Is Naksu Back In Her Original Body?
Jang Uk proposes to Mu Deok after the wedding of Dang-gu and Cho-Yeon. Without an answer from her other than a giggle, we enter the season finale of ‘Alchemy of Souls,’ which begins with Park Jin and Maidservant Kim discussing the future engagement. She suggests living in a tiny house with him, but Park Jin believes she is requesting a present. She hurries to her quarters, unhappy that he does not realize her affection for him.
Alchemy of Souls Ending Explained
Mu Deok, who is forced to act, stirs up chaos in the area of Sejukwon. She also engages in a fight with Jin Cho-Yeon and Park Dang-gu, who have arrived to see Jin Woo-Tak. The pair, unfortunately, are not able to stop her as she shoots Jin Woo-Tak.
Park Jin then runs up to Mu Deok and fires an arrow at her, but he is forced to quit by Jang Uk’s interference. Yet Mu Deok stabs him, and he realizes that something is awry with her. It was a miserable scenario, but Jang Uk clearly does not hold her responsible and rather than calls her names. As Mu Deok recognizes what she has done, his love for her is so intense that even the magic of the bells failed.
Are Jang Uk And Mu Deok Alive At The End Of Season 1?
Jang Uk receives a burial fit a criminal who supported the assassin Naksu. Master Lee is of the belief that this must not be the end for the King’s star. Even though his family and friends are powerless to do anything other than grieve in sorrow for him.
Mu-Deok has realized what she has done and feels terrible. She rushes into the lake to drown after standing at the location known as the soul shifter’s gravesite.
Master Lee announces that the King’s Star, who is observing Jang Uk’s burial pyre, will reappear. Mu Deok dives into the ocean as 2 people rush to save her, while Jang Uk emerges alive from the sacred fire. So, at the end of season 1, Jank Uk is alive but we can’t say the same for Mu Deok. As we have seen in the preview of Season 2, Naksu is back in her real body, so Mu Deok might not be there in season 2.
