Who Was Al Strobel?
Al Strobel was a well-known American actor. He has been in the news because died recently.
His full name was Albert Michael Strobel. He was born in Seattle, Washington. When he was 17 years old, he was involved in an automobile accident that caused him to lose his left arm at the shoulder.
He attended the University of Oregon while living in Oregon.
He died in Eugene on December 2, 2022. When he died, he was 83 years old. He was born in 1939 but his DOB isn’t known. His net worth stood at $3 million.
His Career
Al Strobel co-founded the Church of the Creative and performed in plays at the University of Oregon while residing in Oregon in the early 1970s. He recorded footage during the Grateful Dead concert on August 27, 1972, in Veneta, which was later used in the movie Sunshine Daydream.
Along with parts in the movies “Shadow Play,” “Megaville,” and “Ricochet River,” he had appearances in the “Twin Peaks” television series and “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me.”
He participated in performances of Oklahoma, Richard III, and Romeo and Juliet. Additionally, he had appearance in the television film “Child of Darkness, Child of Light.” He retired in 2005.
After David Lynch left the 2016 “Twin Peaks” revival, he and many other “Twin Peaks” cast members made an appearance in a video supporting Lynch. However, Al Strobel came out of retirement to resume his role as Philip “Gerard” and David Lynch subsequently joined the revival. In 2017, Showtime began airing the new series.
