The 45-year-old former world champion was performing at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania as part of the WWE Holiday Tour event, which was not shown on television. He defeated Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley of Judgment Day with the help of O.C. teammates Karl Anderson and Mia Yim.

Styles, though, is thought to have injured his ankle during the bout, and he may now be in a race against time to be ready to compete in the Royal Rumble next month. Following the fight, a fan-shot video first appeared on social media, showing the Monday Night Raw star receiving care at ringside.

Is the injury real?

The wrestling symbol for when someone has actually been hurt is the “X,” which a referee makes with his hands. Later, a different image of Styles sitting by the ring stairs while gripping his ankle was posted on Twitter. Since then, according to PWInsider, the injury is “100% authentic” and was not intended to be part of the plot.

The Phenomenal One will likely immediately make plans to analyse the injuries he sustained as soon as possible to see if he needs any time away from the ring.

Styles and WWE have not made any public remarks on the incident yet.

As WWE gets ready to embark on its journey to WrestleMania, the superstar and his devoted following will now be anticipating news of the injury with great interest. The winner of the Royal Rumble match will receive a title opportunity against the champion of their choice at the Showcase of the Immortals, which will take place on January 28.

Over the past three years, Styles has been one of WWE’s top talents. He made his Royal Rumble debut in 2016 and performed well in the competition.

In order to battle The Judgment Day, who had been torturing him, The Phenomenal One just reformed The O.C. He had no set intentions for the Royal Rumble on January 28 at the time of the injury. It is uncertain whether the injury will cause him to miss the event.
