The international golf major AIG Women’s British Open golf 2021 is on its way and here is all you need to know from its schedule to the live stream and prize money
Both, the LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour, recognize the AIG Women’s British Open as a major championship in women’s professional golf. This year, it is taking place from Thursday, 19 August to Sunday, 22 August at the Carnoustie Championship Course in Scotland. Here’s everything you need to know about the major championship.
AIG Women’s British Open Golf 2021 Schedule And Live Stream
The 2021 LPGA Tour major season will end this week at Carnoustie after crowning the final major champion of the season at the 2021 AIG Women’s Open, amidst a field of 144 world-class athletes. The championship will be televised across Sky Sports and NBC’s Golf Channel. The latter can be accessed through streaming options such as AT&T TV Now and fuboTV. India’s Aditi Ashok In Action And Live Streaming
India’s Aditi Ashok qualified for the Women’s British Open after finishing second in the qualifiers at Panmure Golf Club, close to Carnoustie. Ranked 157 in the world rankings, Ashok finished fourth at the Tokyo Olympics and will now play for the fifth time at the Women’s British Open.
While the tournament begins at 11 AM local time (3.30 PM IST), Aditi is scheduled to tee off at 5.30 PM local time (9 PM IST), along with South Korean Park Sung-hyun and American Brittany Altomare. The field is quite strong, with 39 of the top 50 in the fray, including world No. 1 Nelly Korda and the defending champion Sophia Popov.

The purse for this year’s AIG Women’s British Open is $1.3m larger than for last year’s tournament and totals $870,000 (£582,000).
