As Aftab Khan was also portrayed in the movie as Additional Police Commissioner Shamsher Khan, the role was played by the amazing actor Sanjay Dutt. Aftab himself performed as Commissioner Krishnamurthy in the movie as well.
Aftab Ahmed was well known as the founder of the Anti-terrorism Squad (ATS) in the year 1990, as inspired by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT).
