AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2022 Venue
The tournament will be held across three venues in India. Previously, the venues were supposedly Ahmedabad, Bhubaneshwar, and Navi Mumbai. The venues were later changed to the following:
Mumbai will be a host city of the Asian Cup 2022, and the matches will be held at the Mumbai Football Arena. The stadium has a total capacity of 18000 spectators.
Navi Mumbai will be the second host of the Cup. The games will be held at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. This venue has a capacity of 37,900 people.
Pune is the final venue of the three for the Women’s Asian Cup 2022. Shree Shivchhatrapati Sports Complex will be the venue for the matches played in Pune. This complex has a capacity of 11,900.
Rules For The Squads
In total, 12 teams will be participating the Asian Cup 2022. Every country is supposed to have a team of a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 23 players in the final squad for the Asian Cup 2022. Out of the selected players, three should be playing at the position of a goalkeeper.
