2024 AFC U23 Asian Cup latest results, schedule, date, venue, format, & qualified teams
Thailand had a great start in the AFC U23 Asian Cup Qatar 2024, winning 2-0 against Iraq in their Group C match at the Al Janoub Stadium on Tuesday. Ithsara Sritharoโs team played superbly, scoring a goal in each half for a remarkable victory. This win was Thailand’s first ever against Iraq at the U23 level, after losing three of their previous six encounters.
Meanwhile, Korea Republic secured a 1-0 victory over United Arab Emirates in their first Group B match with a header from Substitute Lee Young-jun in added time at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium. This last-minute win puts Korea Republic tied for the top spot in Group B with Japan, who also won 1-0 against China PR earlier on Tuesday.
