What is the bacterial infection that Luke Abrahams had?
Any infection that is caused by bacteria and affects the skin, muscles, bones, or other tissues in the legs is considered to be a bacterial infection in the legs. However, the bacterial infection in the legs is also used interchangeably.
Cellulitis, an infection of the skin that most frequently manifests itself in the lower legs, and osteomyelitis, an infection that manifests itself in the bone, are both examples of prevalent types of bacterial infections that can occur in the legs.
Infections of this kind can be brought on by a wide variety of bacterial species, the most common of which are streptococcus and staphylococcus. Redness, swelling, warmth, discomfort, and fever are some of the symptoms that may accompany an infection caused by bacteria in the legs.
An untreated bacterial infection in the legs can result in catastrophic complications such as sepsis and even amputation if the infection is allowed to go untreated. It is imperative that you get medical assistance as soon as you can if you have any reason to believe that you may be suffering from a bacterial infection in your legs.
