AEW Rampage debuted as All Elite Wrestling’s second weekly televised show on Friday, August 13, apart from the flagship show AEW Dynamite. The 1-hour long show will now take place every Friday after WWE Smackdown at 10pm EST. Despite having made its debut, it’s the second episode of Rampage titled The First Dance which has all the hype. AEW Rampage CM Punk Debut: The First Dance Schedule, Venue And How To Live Stream
AEW Rampage: The First Dance will take place this Friday, on 20th August, 2021 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois at 10pm EST / 9pm CST local time. As for India, it will be live streamed on Saturday, 21st August at 8.30 am IST. Though no matches or segments have been announced for the show yet, the tickets were sold out within four minutes, as reports suggest that CM Punk will finally be making his pro-wrestling return at the event.
Ever since, it was reported by Fightful on 21 July that CM Punk was in talks with AEW for an in-ring return, the promotion has made various references and teases to the five-time World Champion. Tony Khan himself has continued to hype up The First Dance episode, though in a way as discreet as possible. He termed the show as “a one-time, historic wrestling television event.”

The first episode itself was a historic event as Kenny Omega defeated Christian Cage to win the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship. The event took place at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and also saw Britt Baker defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Red Velvet; and Miro defeat Fuego Del Sol to retain the AEW TNT Championship.
