Due to the delay in the VFX production, the movie’s initial premiere date as a Sankranthi special in January 2023 was postponed.

The trailer didn’t go down well with fans for its over-animated effects, changing the whole mythological avatars and looking more like some cheap copy of “Games of Thrones.” Additionally, “Adipurush” was accused of inciting religious feelings by portraying a number of legendary figures incorrectly.

Reason For Rework On The Movie And VFX
Due to such a bad response, the designers opted to overhaul the majority of the artwork.
Director Om Raut said, “Adipurush is not a film, but rather a representation of our devotion to Prabhu Shri Ram and dedication to our Sanskriti and history. We must give the teams working on the film additional time if we want to provide the spectators with a fully immersive visual experience. The new release date for Adipurush is June 16, 2023. The Makers Announced A New Release Date
Since the makers appear satisfied with the final outcome and are confident in the final product, the final date has been announced. The film’s release date was a surprise announcement made by the producers on January 17, 2023. Adipurush will be released on June 16, 2023.
In this movie, Kriti Sanon plays the part of goddess Sita, and Prabhas plays Lord Ram. Important roles are played by Sonal Chauhan and Sunny Singh. It is produced on a massive scale by T Series and Retrophiles. The makers are trying to make this movie legendary. The movie will be released in 3D and Imax formats in multiple languages.
The makers have planned to release a new promo soon to communicate this news. Since the day it went on floors, the movie has been in the press. There is a huge mountain for director Om Raut to scale, and as part of that, he has now revealed the movie’s release date. The budget of the movie is at Rs.550 crore with Prabhas taking home Rs.100 crore.
