The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) made an announcement on Tuesday that German sportswear giants Adidas will be the new kit sponsor for the Indian national cricket team, find out more details about the new jersey below along with its release date and price

Prior to Adidas, BCCI had a brief deal with Killer, which is a relatively lesser known apparel-manufacturer.

Meanwhile, Killer bagged the sponsorship deal for team India’s kit for five months right after MPL ended their sponsorship at the end of last year.

The Indian men’s team are expected to sport the new Adidas jersey at the upcoming World Test Championship final in Oval, London. The Rohit Sharma-led side will face the Australia men’s team on June 7.

Adidas India cricket team jersey how to buy and prices

Since BCCI only announced their partnership with Adidas on Tuesday, it will take some time before the jersey and other kit items are available for sale in the market. As of now, the jersey is currently not available anywhere.

As for the price of the jersey, Adidas currently does not sponsor any cricket team at the moment. However, Adidas football jerseys cost around INR 4999 at an average, in India. Current the Killer Indian jerseys generally cost between INR 999 to INR 1499.
