Fans term Lacey Evans “irresponsible” after her autism post

A video on Instagram purportedly posted by WWE star Lacey Evans depicts two men saying they didn’t have autism, ADHD, or ADD as kids. The wrestler is said to have shared the video, which blames processed meals for the current rise in rates. Following her initial Instagram post, Lacey moved to Twitter after receiving criticism from followers that she was irresponsible and hurtful.

She allegedly responded to Sean Ross Sapp’s tweet about the video with the following statement in a since-deleted tweet: “I watched a video about the damage processed foods are having on our children and I shared the video. You people are crazy.”

Fans have uncovered a promotional campaign from 2020 where Lacey and her daughter participated in a Foster Farms corn dog commercial in response to her recent remarks regarding processed foods. While the corn dog cooks in the microwave, Lacey is depicted in the advertisement battling her daughter’s “monster hunger.”

The corn dog is subsequently given to Lacey’s daughter, which social media users have now deemed ironic.
