The news of actress-comedian Subi Suresh’s death on February 22 came in as a shocker to the people of Kerala as she succumbed to liver disease that went out of hands. She breathed her last at a private hospital in Aluva, Kochi, where she was getting treated for the same and to further deteriorate her critical condition, it was reported that Subi also caught Pneumonia before passing away.
Tini shared about her colleague and said, “Subi had been in the intensive care unit for the past few days. She was about to undergo a liver transplant surgery, and all of us have done out bit to expedite the process using our connections but to no avail.
“She was a happy soul, and had been thinking about marriage lately. She wanted to get married, and her wedding was impending.”

Subi Suresh died at the age of 41 years in 2023. She studied at Radcliffe School, Kochi, Kerela while for finishing her further she attended St. Teresa college for women, based in Kerala, India.
Suresh initially began her career as a mimicry artist. Subi was born to Lalitha, who is a classical dancer, while her father’s name is Sudhakaran Nair and he was a well-known theatrical performer. She has a sister named Soumya who is also an actor.

She had denied the opportunity to feature in Bigg Boss Season 4.

Subi’s Instagram was used to share the sad news of her demise. Along with a photo of a radiant Suresh, it stated, “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. See you all again… Thanks.” The post received more than 13,000 likes. Her Instagram fans flooded the comment section to mourn the actress.
“Rest in peace, Chechi,” a user wrote with deep sadness. Another commented, “We were people who rose up laughing on Cinemala and then Kuttipattalam. Rip.”
The actress had been suffering from liver failure for several years. She was finally admitted to Rajagiri Hospital in Aluva on 28th January, with acute liver failure. As per the reports by the media, she has been diagnosed with jaundice and she couldn’t undergo treatment for the disease as she had a chronic lung condition as well.
