Media eports indicate that the actor Vikas Sethi, suffered a cardiac arrest while sleeping. He had suffered loose motions and vomitting after reaching his wife’s mother’s home in Nashik to attend a family function. His body has been taken to Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital for post-mortem. Sethi is survived by his wife and their twin sons.

After playing Abir in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Vikas Sethi became well-known. He went on to appear in a number of other popular TV series, including Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Kahiin To Hoga, Uttaran, and Sasural Simar Ka. Alongside his ex-wife Amita, he took part in the third season of the dancing reality show Nach Baliye.
Apart from his work in television, Vikas also pursued a career in film. In Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, he portrayed Robbie, Kareena Kapoor’s friend, and in Deewaanapan, he costarred with Arjun Rampal and Dia Mirza as Rocky. His most recent feature film role was in the 2019 Telugu blockbuster ISmart Shankar.
