On Monday, October 14, senior Marathi actor Atul Parchure passed away. He was fifty-seven.

A few years ago, Atul Parchure had a cancer diagnosis, but he battled it for two years before eventually succumbing to the disease. According to family-close sources, Atul Parchure passed away earlier today. His wife, daughter, and mother all survive him. Additionally, the family has asked for privacy during this trying time.

Actress Supriya Pilgaonkar posted a farewell message on Instagram to the late actor.  She said, “Dear friend you shouldn’t have been like this, you fought a lot! You have tolerated a lot. You will always be missed. Your silly smile will always be missed. May your soul rest in peace and the strength to endure the pain of the family.”

Atul Parchure was born on November 30, 1966 and passed away on October 14, 2024. He was 5ft 5in tall. At the age of 57, Parchure passed away in Mumbai due to cancer after complication arose from the disease which he battled for two years. Sonia Parchure and Atul Parchure were married. She is a well-known dancer. Sonia Parchure also participates in the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) panel discussions and is an Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) recognized Performing Artist and one of the panelists.

She began her journey as a dancer at the age of 6 yrs under the guidance of Punam Murdeshwar.

Atul and Sonia are parents to Sakheel Parchure who is a fashion stylist. Atul attended Balmohan Vidyamandir and the DG College of Arts.

Atul Parchure career

Atul Parchure was an Indian actor who worked in theatre, television series, and movies. His humorous roles in the Marathi and Hindi film industries are what made him most famous. To his credit, he played characters like Tarun Turk Mhatare Arka, Priyatama, and Vasu Chi Sasu, despite the fact that he was primarily seen in motion pictures.

The films Navra Mazha Navsacha, Salaam-E-Ishq, Partner, All the Best: Fun Begins, Khatta Meetha, Bbuddah: Hoga Terra Baap, and Brave Heart feature some of his work.

The Marathi drama film Conditions Apply – Ati Lagu is one of his 2017 releases. Along with Atul Parchure, the film is directed by Girish Mohite and has Subodh Bhave, Radhika Vidyasagar, and Dipti Srikanth in the key roles.

Parchure collaborated with Supriya Pathare and Shruti Marathe on the renowned Zee Marathi program Jaago Mohan Pyare. In Zee Marathi’s Bhago Mohan Pyare, the follow-up to Jago Mohan Pyaare, he too played the lead role. In the Zee Marathi Utsav Natyancha Awards 2019, he was awarded Best Actor and Best Comedy Character for this serial.
