John Bird, who was in the movies Chambers and Absolute Power, died on Saturday, December 24, know his cause of death and net worth

He was 86 years old.

Bird lived with pianist and teacher Libby Crandon after 1978 and they later married and had two stepsons from his previous marriage with Ann Stockdale who he married in 1965 and divorced in 1970.

He was a resident of Newdigate, Surrey and died from complications of a stroke at Pendean House Care Home in Midhurst, West Sussex, on 24 December 2022, aged 86. His net worth stood at $2 million.

His people said that he died at a care home called Pendean in West Sussex, UK. A funeral for only family members has been planned, and a party to honour his life will take place in 2023.

Bird was well-known for his roles in A Dandy in Aspic, This, That, and the Other, The Seven-Percent Solution, and other TV shows and movies.

John Michael Bird started his career on TV in the 1960s. He was born on November 22, 1936. He was on shows like “That Was the Week That Was,” “A Very Peculiar Practice,” “My Father Knew Lloyd George,” and more.

John Bird was best known for playing Mr. Rembrandt in The Melting Pot, a BBC comedy show. The pilot episode of the show was shown for the first time in June 1976. The whole series was filmed, but the rest of the episodes were never shown.

No one ever said why the show was cancelled, but actor and comedian Spike Milligan thought that it probably wasn’t very funny, so that’s why it was cancelled.
