Allu Ramesh, the renowned Telugu comedian and actor, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, in his native Visakhapatnam. He was 52.
His untimely death was announced by the director Anand Ravi, who took to social media to post two of his photos. On Facebook, he wrote,

Allu Ramesh was a well-known Telugu actor and comedian. He has been in the news because he passed away recently at the age of 52.
He was born and brought up in Vishakhapatnam. He was married; however, nothing much is known about his wife. He also has two sons.

His career
After originally obtaining expertise in the theatrical profession, Allu Ramesh started his career in the film industry. He made his acting debut in the 2001 Telugu movie “Chirujallu,” which was directed by Shriram Balaji and featured Tarun Kumar, SP Balasubrahmanyam, and Richa Pallod.
Allu Ramesh appeared in almost 50 Telugu films during the course of his more than two-decade career, wowing audiences with his perfect comedic timing. Some of his notable works include ‘Mathura Wines’, ‘Veedhi’, ‘Tolu Bommalata’, ‘Ravana Desam’, and ‘Blade Babji’, among others.
His most recent appearances were in director Venkatesh Pediredla’s ‘Anukoni Prayanam’, where he acted alongside Rajendra Prasad and Narasimha Raju, and in director Sai Kiran Adivi’s ‘Kerintha’, where he played the role of Nukaraju’s father, and which was released in 2015.
