The veteran actor’s sudden demise has left the entire film industry and Bollywood fans in mourning.
Cause of death
According to reports, the veteran actor slipped and fell while working in his kitchen, causing critical injuries. Mishra was reportedly found unconscious on the floor before being rushed to the hospital. However, he eventually succumbed to his injuries. Mishra’s body is currently under postmortem.

Akhil Mishra was an Indian film and television actor who was born on 22 July 1965, in India. The veteran Bollywood actor just recently passed away on 21 September 2023 after succumbing to some injuries from a fall. Throughout his career, he has worked on films like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, 3 Idiots, Gandhi, My Father and television serials such as Pradhanmantri.

Aside from movies, he also made his mark on popualr television series’ like “Uttaran,” “Udaan,” “Shrimaan,” “Hatim,” and “CID.” Following his second marriage with Suzanne Bernert, the pair featured together in both small and big screen projects. Akhil was previously married to Manju Mishra from 1983 to 1997. He later got married to his present German wife Suzanne Bernert on 2009. The couple got married around February 2009 and later reaffirmed their commitment through a Hindu ritual in September 2011. Following the tragic death, Suzanne, who was in Hyderabad for a shoot at the time of his death expressed her sorrow, stating:
My heart is broken, and my second half is gone.”
Suzanne fondly recalled how in the past, Akhil Mishra went out of his way to help her learn Hindi. He did it even at the risk of his career and other professional commitments.
