22 year Abhishek Kumar has grabbed this opportunity by clearing 3 coding rounds and 1 personal interview round. In December 2022 the first round of the coding test series was conducted and Kumar scored well in that. Later on, he went for rounds 2 and 3 of the coding series. Amazon Germany confirmed his job via a phone call.

Abhishek Kumar is a student at the National Institute of Technology based in Patna. He has grabbed a record pay package of INR1.8 crore this year during placements in his institute. Kumar is a final year computer science student and the institute has proudly shared this news through its Twitter handle and his images went viral across the social media handles.
Apart from the bad effect of Covid-19 on-campus placements, this amazing record-breaking year for the NIT Patna with 130 overall placements seems like offers are returning to their pre-pandemic levels. Moreover, now the stability is slowly returning which is giving students a greater opportunity for securing employment of their preference. The NIT Patna has secured its 72nd position in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in the year 2021. One can get admission to it just by qualifying for the JEE Mains exam, as it is a very tough exam to clear, and out of 100%, 40 to 50% of students clear.
