According to his family, Abhishek Chatterjee, a Bengali actor, died on March 24 after having a major heart attack.
Many prominent figures around the country have expressed their condolences, including West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
The Bengal Chief Minister resorted to Twitter to convey her condolences on Abhishek’s death, saying that he was a “talented and versatile” actor. Abhishek Chatterjee leaves a wife and a daughter behind.
Who Is Abhishek Chatterjee?
On April 30, 1964, Abhishek Chatterjee was born in Baranagar, West Bengal. He was an Indian actor well known for starring in Bengali films.
He graduated from the University of Calcutta’s Seth Anandram Jaipuria College after finishing secondary education at the Baranagore Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama High School.
His wife’s name is Sanjukta Chatterjee. In the year 2008, the pair married. They were happily married and lived with their daughter. In addition, the couple prefers to maintain a low-key lifestyle.
On March 24, 2022, he breathed his final breath at his Baranagar residence.
His Death Cause
According to a report, the 58-year-old actor complained of ‘uneasiness in the stomach’ on Wednesday during filming for a non-fiction show. His family disclosed that he was afterwards treated with saline at his home on Prince Anwar Shah Road.

As a result, his name was remembered by the people of the countryside. Abhishek made a return to the small screen in recent years, portraying a part in the blockbuster series Kharkuto. He was last seen shooting Ismart Jodi, a reality programme hosted by Jeet.
