AWGE is a creative agency that was founded in 2014 and has directed a number of music videos, notably Shittin’ Me, which was directed by its founder, A$AP Rocky. Along with launching a fashion line and producing music, AWGE has collaborated with Mercedes Benz, Needles, and Marni Serre.
Through the project, the world was introduced to two of AWGE’s core members: Robert Gallardo and Tan Camera. Gallardo and Camera (real name Kimi Selfridge) were credited as the masterminds behind the project with Gallardo taking the lead on creative direction and Selfridge as responsible for much of the installation’s photography and design work.
Artists involved with the collective include slowthai, Playboi Carti, Smooky Margielaa, the A$AP Mob, and Key! and the people parts of AWGE include the creative stylist Matthew Henson, Shane Gonzales from Midnight Studios and the jeweler Ben Baller. Other big names tied to the brand include Tyler the Creator, and Lil Uzi Vert but the full form of AWGE has never been revealed.
According to the media, A$AP Rocky’s tirade caused some tension during Friday’s court sessions, which prompted the prosecutors to ask the judge to compel the witness to speak the truth.
But Twelvyy simply said, “It means AWGE.” He said he simply heard a sound when asked if he heard Rocky’s warning to not reveal the full form. Rocky’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, came up to the court for a sidebar a few moments later.

Twelvyy never disclosed the acronym’s significance and full form in court however. Additionally, the website of the creative agency does not reveal its secret, as it says, “The first rule of AWGE is don’t ask questions about AWGE,” he said, “No one needs to know what the letters stand for. We know what it is, and that’s how we want to keep it.”
When asked about the night when Rocky reportedly shot ASAP Relli in Los Angeles, ASAP Twelvyy asserted that the latter was the catalyst. In addition, he asserted that he never witnessed Rocky pointing the gun at Relli, even though the latter denied this.
“The first time I seen it, it wasn’t on his body or anything. It was for a video shoot in the Bronx…in July of 2021,” Twelvyy recalled.
He further claimed that Relli got in touch with ASAP Rocky to “shoot that fake a*s gun.” He further disclosed that they attempted to defuse the situation that evening, but Relli pursued and assaulted them, forcing Rocky to fire twice at the ground in an attempt to frighten the ASAP mob member.
If convicted of the two charges of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, ASAP Rocky is reportedly facing a suggested sentence of eight years in prison.
