In A Bizarre Accident, British Star Holly Bradshaw’s Pole Vault Snaps, Causing Her To Fall On Her Neck
Bradshaw injured her hand, back, and hamstring after the pole snapped as she put it in the box. Causing her to fall uncomfortably on her neck. In preparation for the European Championships and the Commonwealth Games this summer, the 30-year-old is currently concentrating on his recovery.
She is still disappointed, though, because her chances of winning her first medal at the World Championships were dashed before they even began. Bradshaw expressed her astonishment and grief about the tragedy, calling it a “huge shock.”
Bradshaw admitted, “I was totally disappointed, I was sad, I was weeping in the box, sobbing.” “This was a huge, huge shock. For such three weeks before this, I’ve felt fantastic.
“I’ll be getting more inspections tomorrow; hopefully, they won’t be awful, and I’ll come back with Commies and Euros. I feel powerless to change it. This year has been difficult, and I now have more obstacles to overcome.”
Scott Simpson, Bradshaw’s coach, was likewise in complete shock at the time. He was stunned and astounded that something so unforeseen could occur on the grandest platform to leave someone on the injury bed entirely.
