A former medallist was attacked, although the attacker, Semeon Tesfamariam, is not well-known.
On Friday afternoon, Glass was heading out for lunch when she noticed a man running her way while holding an unidentified object in his hand. When Glass hurled the object at Tesfamarian, she wasn’t precisely near to him and thinks it may have been a metal pipe or bolt.
Officer Drake Madison, a spokesman for the Los Angeles police stated that Tesfamariam was detained on “suspicion of criminal assault with a dangerous weapon.” He is now detained without bond.

Her real name is Kimberly Marie Glass. She was born on born August 18, 1984, in Los Angeles, California, USA. Her parents’ names are Sherman and Kathy Glass. She has two sisters, Shalana and Shaynce, as well as two brothers, Darryl and Marcius.
She attended Conestoga Valley High School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she was a three-year letter-winner.
