Gerard Pique, a defender for Barcelona, is said to have severed relations with the Kosmos employee with whom he allegedly had an affair, giving the story involving Shakira and Pique a new twist.

Now, it appears that the Barcelona defender wants to mend fences with Shakira. According to press photographer Jordi Martin to Telecinco, “He is unmarried and has a lot of friends.”
He did say that the ex-couple is beginning a reconciliation, however, it is being handled by their attorneys as they attempt to become closer in their positions. They want to reach an agreement and a mutual understanding regarding their own future and the future of their children.
Where they both currently reside or where they both aspire to reside is what separates the two. Shakira wants to travel to Miami, but Pique wants her and their kids to remain in Barcelona. There have been rumours that Pique’s boyfriend has even met his kids in recent days.
Pique’s issues are not related to his personal life
In addition to his custody dispute and impending divorce, Pique is under investigation for his ties to Luis Rubiales, president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
