Elizabeth Rose Struhs, an 8-year-old girl in a cult serving family with Type 1 diabetes was discovered dead in her family’s home in Rangeville in Toowoomba, west of Brisbane, know her religion, church and funeral
The family of Elizabeth was involved in cult practices. They did not give any medication to eight years old kids.
The family relied on their church to cure the kid. They perform cult practices and prayed for kids’ health.

Along with Elizabeth‘s parents, the other twelve members of the cult are also taken into police custody and are charged with attempt to murder. All the arrested people are adults with varying ages of the 20s, 30s and 60s.
The church group members were known as The Saints and Elizabeth’s family followed Christianity.

How did Struhs die?
The body of the victim was found by local authorities on January 11th 2022. Although, e child was believed to be dead already four days earlier.
This was followed by the arrest of Elizabeth’s parents, Jason Struhs, 50, and Kerrie 46. The couple and cult members were aware of the severe health problems of the child. Yet, they did not provide her health care.
The couple along with the 12 members of the cult performed radical cult prayer rituals over the body of the suffering child. They believed in “god’s healing powers”. The couple was summoned to Toowoomba Magistrates Court two months after the alleged crime. They denied to take legal support and represented themselves.
Elizabeth’s elder sister, Jayde Struhsran,24 away from home at the age of 16 due to her parents’ radical beliefs and cult involvement. She has shared her experience with the cult. She wrote, “It was quite a closed, close, controlled group. It was very fear-driven. You didn’t put your foot out of line.”
She is now taking care of the rest of her younger siblings. She has also started a GoFundMe charity to pay tribute to her sister.
The cult was comprised of members from three families, including kids. The cult members describe themselves as “The Saints”
