At a point in your life while watching cricket, you might have also wondered how few commatator’ can literally say anything and easily get away with it. But this wasn’t the case for ex-cricketer turned commentator Sehwag.ย

“Chamiya Naach Rahi Hai” Meaning In English After Virender Sehwag Video And Comment On Virat Kohli Goes Viral

Previously if any Commentator says anything to a cricketer no body spoke their opinion against the Commentator. We can see it by taking an example of Ravi Shastri’s commentary of 2011 World Cup where he used he said “Dhoni finishes off in style” although it wasn’t an exaggeration.

But as the time changes, Cricket isn’t treated as game anymore in India instead it became an religion itself. And the Cricketers are now much more famous than the celebrities.

And if anyone says any single word against them fans not just took it to their heart but also they lashes out more harshly. Same can be seen in the case of Sehwag.

It’s all happened during the rescheduled 5th Test Match of ENG vs IND. In this match, Kohli was celebrating the Sam Billing’s wicket by dancing after Mohammad Siraj dismissed the English batter.

At this time, the other commentator Aakash Chopra drew Shewag’s attention and asked him, “to see Virat Kohli’s dance (Virat Kohli ka Dance Dekhiye)”.ย

After watching Kohli’s dance, Sehwag didn’t mind using the word “Chhamiya” in front of millions of viewers. He commented on Cricketers dance as, “Chaamiya naach rahi hain”.

FYI, Chhamiya is a Hindi slang used for the girls who dance more or less in a bar. A proper translation would be coquette with the term used to refer to a bar girl dancing.

Well after listening to such derogatory words for the most famous cricketer of India, how Twitter can stay calm. The fans of Virat Kohli had taken this very offensively and they started a war against the ex-cricketer turned commentator Sehwag.
