The release of Fall Guys as a free-to-play game has been wildly successful.
Although Fall Guys were technically in season 7, the cycle has been reset by the devs. Thus, season 1 will replace what would otherwise be season 7. With the advent of the free-to-play version, the seasons were relaunched. Season 6 of the previous one, which finished on June 21, 2022, marked the start of the current one.

Fall Guys’ arrival onto the Xbox & Nintendo consoles as well as the widely desired crossplay feature was also announced at the free-to-play launch.
