When Destiny 2’s Solstice of Heroes 2022 begins in July, Season of the Haunted will serve as the location for a celebration of the player base.
Destiny 2 Solstice Of Heroes 2022 Dates And Armor Changes Revealed
The celebration is now known simply as Solstice. It will once more highlight the accomplishments of players across the solar system and reopen our European Aerial Zone with some fresh surprises for them.
What is the Solstice of Heroes event in Destiny 2?
The Solstice of Heroes is often known simply as Solstice. Is it a celebration honouring Guardians and their achievements over the previous year in Destiny 2?
The celebration of the Traveler’s homecoming after we vanquished Ghaul in the Red Military campaign took place in the Last City and started after Destiny 2’s first year. This year, too, there is much to be grateful for after the Witch Queen expansion helped us defeat Savathun (for the time being).
The European Aerial Zone is a region that is only accessible during Solstice. This is where the majority of the action takes place. Here, players attempt to defeat as many bosses as they can to obtain keys that unlock prizes. But this year, a few things have changed.

The developers stated that Solstice will be a part of Season 17 and begin on July 19 in a blog post titled This Week At Bungie. Expect it to begin at 6 PM BST/10 AM PT/1 PM ET that day, concurrent with the weekly reset.
What Can One Expect From Destiny 2?
If past years are any indication, the event often lasts a month. Possibly overlapping with the conclusion of Season of a Haunted and the beginning of Season 18.
The Event Card is a brand-new feature in Destiny 2 that debuts with Solstice 2022. All indications point to this being a battle pass-style event add-on that will have additional cosmetic prizes in addition to Event Challenges, Event Seals & Titles to gain, and Event Rewards to fulfil.

The Event Card is best for devoted gamers because it costs 1000 Silver but offers rewards that exceed 3000 Silver. Even though some community members claim it furthers Destiny’s perplexing monetization structure.
