On June 11, NICKMERCS said he would face TimTheTatman on July 1 in Las Vegas as part of UFC International fight week. Fans were left wondering what the event would truly entail and whether the two streams would actually “face off” in the Octagon after the announcement. Sadly, instead of fighting physically, the two will compete in the video game UFC 4 instead. The MFAM Gauntlet event will feature two distinct cards, just like a typical UFC event. NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman will square off in the virtual Octagon in EA SPORTS UFC 4 to compete in the MFAM Gauntlet. Legendary UFC athletes like Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson and Adrian Yanez will be coaching the two in real-time. NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman will commentate a 3v3 Apex Legends match as part of the event.
The unique format for the Apex Legends match was designed especially for the MFAM Gauntlet. After the contest, Nick will conduct a meet-and-greet where spectators may interact with the streamers and purchase photos and autographs. On the UFC Twitch channel, viewers at home can watch the entire event.

On June 28, the official UFC X Twitter page disclosed a lot more information about the event, including the members of each team and locations where fans could watch the action. For a time, not much had been revealed about the event. The “Battle of the Ages” is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 1, 2022, according to the UFC’s official website. A large number of streamers from both teams will be present at the event, including FaZe Kalei. The event will be held in conjunction with Nickmercs’ MFAM at the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
