Betvictor Snooker Championship League Day 2 Results, Score, Day 3 Schedule, Draw And Other Details

After the second day of competition at the 2022 BetVictor Championship League Snooker at the Morningside Arena in Leicester, live on Matchroom, Zhao Xintong and Anthony Hamilton advanced to Winners’ Week.

Zhao got the day off to a raging start by humiliating Michael Holt in a 3-1 victory that saw the current UK Championship champion score his first season-opening century and secure all three points. In his post-group interview, The Cyclone expressed his desire to hold the coveted World No. 1 position, and he did nothing to dampen those aspirations by eliminating Adam Duffy in less than 45 minutes, adding another 105 along the way for good measure.

With a stylish clearance of 130 from the reigning German Masters champion, Hamilton took the lead against Saengkham early and knew he was headed for Winners’ Week. Saengkham, who only needed one point, scored his first in the second, but Hamilton was not about to let his birthday be ruined. He made a strong clearance in the 114th round to secure the victory and go to the next round.
