CAIT Asks The Indian Government To Ban Battlegrounds Mobile India

There are strong voices coming against the game and now CAIT has asked the government to ban Battlegrounds Mobile India

PUBG Mobile alternative BGMI also known as Battlegrounds Mobile India is all set to launch in India. Earlier, PUBG Mobile was banned in September 2020 under the act of 69A. Indian government handed a ban to the game as they found out that it is sharing data of the players with a Chinese company.

Later, Krafton claimed that they parted ways with the Chinese company Tencent will re-launch the game with the required changes. Moreover, after a gap of 8 months, the game is going to launch in the Indian market.

Why CAIT Wrote the Letter to Ban Battlegrounds Mobile India?

Before the launch, ban BGMI is trending on all the social platforms. Furthermore, several politicians wrote letters to PMO and Miety asking not to allow the game. The allegations are the same on this version and it is said that Tencent is still a part of Krafton to make this game. Earlier, Krafton claimed that the data of the game will be stored in the servers of Singapore, Moscow, and Moscow.

Confederation of All India Traders(CAIT) wrote a letter asking the Indian Government to ban battlegrounds in Mobile India. Moreover, the letter was written to Ravi Shankar Prasad (Union IT & Communication Minister) and also to Google. CAIT asked the government to ban the game because it is affecting the young generation of this country.

Also, they added that the game tends to a lot of violence which is not good. They added that it is also a threat to the security of our country.

In a recent report, a serious allegation emerged against the game. IGN India said that the game is sharing the data with a Chinese company and it can be tracked with the IP address.

As usual, there is no official announcement for the officials of Battlegrounds Mobile India. Furthermore, early access to the game is available now for all android users. BGMI will launch completely including iOS in the upcoming few days.
