Betvictor Snooker Championship League Schedule, Format, And Venue

The 2022 Championship League will take place in Leicester, England, at the Morningside Arena from June 28 to July 29, 2022. 128 players will compete in the competition. With four competitors in each group, the action begins with 32 rounds of group matches. Every day over four blocks—from June 28 to July 1; from July 4 to July 7; from July 11 to July 14; and from July 18 to July—two groups are played to a conclusion using a two-table arrangement in the arena.

In the round-robin events, each group plays six matches. The best-of-four-frame format is used in all games throughout group play, with the winner earning three points and the loser receiving one. Groupings are determined using players’ point totals, frame differences, and head-to-head results between players who were tied. The remaining ties are then broken using the group’s highest break. Tickets can be purchased from here.

The group winners’ stage, which consists of eight groups of four contestants, is where the top 32 contenders move on. The eight winners from the group winners’ stage move on to the two final groups in the final, which takes place later that day. The winner wins the Championship League trophy as well as a place in the 2022 Champion of Champions.
