Sony has revealed one of their future PS Plus July 2022 free games, and PlayStation Extra & Premium customers should be aware of four titles that will be going before October.
In the Americas, new tiers have been published, and Europe will get them on June 23rd. Essential is the most basic tier, while Extra includes hundreds of PS4 and PS5 games, and Premium includes PlayStation classics from of the PS3, PS2, PS One, and PSP eras.
Sony’s subscription strategy has been revamped, and there’s a new day one launch to look forward to next month.
PS Plus July 2022 Free Games Confirmed, Release Date And Reddit Leaks
Stray is one of the confirmed PS Plus free games again for Extra and Premium tiers in July 2022.
This is exclusively available to Extra and Premium subscribers; if you are only on Essential, you will not receive it. According to Sony’s Twitter, the game will be released on July 19th, making it per day one release.
WHAT ARE THE PS PLUS JULY 2022 FREE GAMES?
The mysterious cat game everyone remembers from of the State of Play announcement out in 2020 is what the game is all about. It’s a third-person adventure wherein you control a lost kitty trying to escape a long-forgotten digital city, according to the game’s website.
It costs £23.99 on Steam, and you may get this from the PSN store if you don’t want to subscribe to Extra or Premium.
Aside from Stray, Essential, Extra, & Premium users will receive three additional freebies. These have yet to be revealed, but they should be on June 29th. According to Sony’s PS Plus June 2022 blog article, the next wave of freebies will be available on July 4th.

Between July and October 2022, four games will be removed from PS Plus Extra and Premium:
- Shadow Warrior 3 – July 5th
- NBA 2K22 – August 31st
- FIA WRC 10 – August 31st
- Red Dead Redemption 2 – September 20th
