During a recent interview, Charlotte Flair revealed how tough it was for her to miss WWE WrestleMania 37 after testing positive for COVID-19
Second generation WWE superstar Charlotte Flair had apparently missed out on The Grandest Stage of Them All, earlier this year. Despite being initially recognized as the daughter of Hall of Famer Ric Flair, Charlotte has made a name of her own. She is one of the most popular powerhouses within the WWE Women’s Division. In an interview with the New York Post, the 35-year-old revealed the real reason behind her absence at WrestleMania 37.
Why Did Charlotte Flair Not Appear At WWE WrestleMania 37?
Prior to WrestleMania 37, Charlotte’s fiance Andrade revealed that she had to pull out from the show because WWE doctors had mistakenly announced her as pregnant. Charlotte and Andrade have been in a relationship since February 2019 and they got engaged in January, the next year. Flair has now revealed that the real reason why she had to sit back was because she had tested positive for COVID-19.
Charlotte explained how even though it was tough for her, she came back in a stronger shape. “Even though it was really tough for me to miss Mania, I think missing it to come back stronger ultimately turned out to be the best thing for me, even though it was hard.” She enjoyed returning as a heel, straightening her curly hair and having the post-WrestleMania promo. She came back wanting to even the ground she had left behind.
