Rahul Sahu, an 11-year-old child who fell down a borehole in Chhattisgarh’s Janjgir Champa region, was recovered on Tuesday night following a 104-hour rescue effort, authorities said. The Indian Army and the United Nations Emergency Force worked together to carry out the missions (NDRF).

As per PTI sources, about 500 NDRF members, Military officials. And deputies were dispatched to the scene to monitor and perform the little boy’s rescue operations. The soldiers were already on from Friday, and Sahu was recovered on the fifth day of the operation.
About 2 p.m. on Friday, Sahu slipped into empty 80-foot-deep boreholes in the courtyard of his house in Pihrid village, Malkharoda developmental block, when exploring. For up to 100 hrs, the kid was trapped at a distance of 60 ft inside the boreholes.

The recovery efforts to save the youngster were sophisticated. And meticulously prepared to ensure that Rahul Sahu remains safe and unharmed within the borewell. A remote-controlled borewell rescue robot equipment from Gujarat was also used in the recovery operation.
Furthermore, the Indian Army and NDRF had put a tube through the boreholes to ensure that the small boy’s oxygenated blood remained constant. Sahu was ultimately rescued from the well late Tuesday night and also was taken to the hospital.
He was transported to the Trauma Unit (ICU), thus according to authorities, his status is now stable. After five days of nonstop attempts. The mammoth rescue operation came to a conclusion just as television images showed the youngster being carried to a facility on a mattress.
