“I will date your mom,” Jose Enrique Mocks Gerard Pique After He Cheats On Shakira With CC

On Twitter, Jose Enrique published a meme mocking Gerard Pique after his split with Shakira

Jose Enrique, a former Liverpool left-back, recently posted a joke on Twitter mocking Barcelona defender Gerard Pique. He posted a photo of Pique and Vinicius Jr. on Instagram, with the message mocking Pique’s speed and present dating situation.

It’s worth noting that Pique and Shakira just confirmed their separation after 12 years together. After accusations surfaced that he cheated on the Colombian superstar, the defender is supposed to be living alone in Barcelona.

Apart from his five-year time with Liverpool, Enrique has played for Newcastle United, Villarreal, and Celta Vigo. He also spends a lot of time on social media. The caption on the tweet he sent to Pique read:

“Pique to Vinicius: If you dribble me like that again, I’m going to date your mother,”

The Barcelona defender was photographed with Real Madrid’s Vinicius, who appeared to be having a chat with him. After rumours about Gerard’s relationship problems with Shakira began to circulate, the context of the joke became clear. According to allegations (via IB Times), the defender was discovered cheating on the singer with the mother of his Blaugrana teammate Gavi.

While the rumours were swiftly debunked as false, they became one of the numerous topics of conversation on social media.

Over the previous few weeks, there have been numerous social media remarks concerning Barcelona player Gerard Pique.

The banter amongst teammates is usual, and Jose Enrique’s message was a humorous but innocent attempt to tease his fellow Spaniard. Enrique spent five seasons with Liverpool, his longest stint with a club during his playing career.

Pique’s good form was also a target of his current tweet. It’s clear that the player has lost a lot of his speed and is struggling to keep up with a new generation of attackers.

Many admirers flocked to Twitter to mock Pique because they couldn’t believe she had cheated on her. According to one of the tweets, Shakira has done more for football than her partner. This was a reference to the superstar’s iconic ‘Waka Waka’ and ‘La La La’ songs for the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups, respectively.

Meanwhile, Barcelona’s administration stated last week that the player had their entire support. They believe that through his on-field performances, he will be able to put all of this behind him.
