BOBBY HOPE has passed away at the age of 78, according to his old club West Bromwich Albion, know his cause of death and obituary
The Scot was a legend at the Hawthorns and managed to help the Baggies win the League Cup and FA Cup in the late 1960s.

He made 409 appearances as an inside forward before departing for Birmingham in 1972. He helped the team finish in The top four Cup in 1966 and the FA Cup in 1968 with 42 goals. Hope passed away gently yesterday.
Hope played with Birmingham for four years after leaving the Hawthorns, with loan spells in the United States with the Philadelphia Atoms and Dallas Tornado.
He joined Sheffield Wednesday in 1976 and stayed at Hillsborough for 3 years. With two loan periods at Dallas in between. Hope joined Bromsgrove Rovers in 1979, where he finished his playing career before taking over as manager in 1983.
He took over at Burton Albion after five years as manager, before coming to Bromsgrove in 1989. Hope rejoined to his hometown West Brom as a scout when his spell as manager ended in 1994. In 2000, he was promoted to top scout for the Baggies.
He went on to coach Bromsgrove and Burton Albion after earning seven senior Scotland appearances. Hope was a midfield midfielder on one of West Brom’s finest ever sides, winning the FA Cup and League Cup with the club in the 1960s.
“It is with great regret that we announce the loss of a legend, Bobby Hope,” the West Brom ex-players organization said in a statement. He passed away quietly yesterday with his cause of death being down to his age and the prevelant complications with it.
