McDonald’s, a worldwide restaurant corporation founded in the United States, is the world’s biggest fast-food restaurant chain and has long been a fan favourite.
Everyone went crazy when the fast-food company introduced a chicken variant of its famous Big Mac burger earlier this year.
The burger, which features two chicken patties, three buns, and the iconic Big Mac sauce, was so popular that it sold out and had to be taken off the menu briefly.

Now, McDonald’s has officially released its new Taste of Spain and Cyprus summer menu, which includes Halloumi Fries, two burgers, and a new drink. So, let’s find out more about Halloumi Fries:
Halloumi Fries Launch
Burger King reintroduced Halloumi Fries in April 2022, after the popular delicacy was discontinued in June 2021. McDonald’s has now joined the fray as well.
The fast-food restaurant launched its new Taste of Spain and Cyprus summer menu on Monday (June 6th), which includes the iconic squeaky cheese snack. They confirmed the arrival of Halloumi Fries on Twitter, along with a variety of new delectable Mediterranean-themed burgers.
Before Halloumi Fries, McDonald’s is renowned for its cheesy dishes, such as Cheesy Garlic Bites, Mozzarella Sticks, Nacho Cheese Bites, Chilli Cheese Bites, and Cheese and Herb Melts, but Halloumi Fries are a new addition to the UK menu.
Launch Date At McDonald’s UK
McDonald’s shops throughout the UK will launch its ‘Taste of Italy’ menu on Wednesday, June 8th.
On Wednesday, July 27, McDonald’s will introduce the second wave of the menu, which will include Halloumi Fries. It will be available on the menu for six weeks, until September 6, 2022.

- Italian Stack
Two beef patties, crisp onions, mozzarella, tomato sauce, and roasted tomatoes will be served on an Italian Stack, which will be garnished with a thick cheesy sauce and crispy lettuce.
- Crispy Chicken Italiano
Crispy Chicken Italiano has crispy chicken fillets, basil pesto sauce, lettuce, mozzarella, red onion, and tomato on a ciabatta-style bread.
- Mozzarella dips
Mozzarella dips are also returned as a popular side dish.
- Tiramisu-flavoured McFlurry
Apart from Halloumi Fries, Tiramisu-flavoured McFlurry, which is unique to this all-new Italian menu.
- Spicy Spanish Stack burger
Paprika bread, two beef patties, hot tomato sauce, chilli cheddar, red onion, and lettuce make up the Spicy Spanish Stack burger.
- Chicken Fiesta burger
A crispy chicken fillet, chorizo, spicy tomato sauce, chilli cheddar, lettuce, and red onion will be included in the Chicken Fiesta burger, which will be served on a paprika bun.
- Spanish Fruit Punch
Spanish Fruit Punch, a pleasant and robust berry and citrus-flavored soft drink, will also be available.
