Nigerian rapper Burna Boy has paid a teary-eyed tribute to famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala during his recent concert. Sidhu recently was murdered in Mansa, Punjab.

A video went viral on the social media platforms in which, Burna boy was seen speaking out Sidhu’s name and paying tribute to him. He was seen sobbing while doing so. “RIP Sidhu Moose Wala,” the rapper said and later did the legend Moosewala’s signature step where he hit his thigh and pointed a finger upwards like Sidhu.
After the death of Sidhu Moosewala on 29th May, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu a.k.a Burna Boy tweeted an emotional tribute with Sidhu’s photo. He wrote: “Legends never Die. Broken heart. RIP SIDHU MOOSE WALA. Shit still doesn’t feel real about all this happened. Many celebrities and Sidhu’s fans reacted to the Nigerian rapper’s emotional tribute on social media.
A Twitter user, Prithvi Kapila also wrote that “@burna boy gives tribute to Sidhu #JusticForSidhu.” Jasmeet Singh Chouhan, another user, also shared the Nigerian rapper’s video on his Twitter account.
He tagged Burna boy, and couldn’t hold back his tears as he gave a very special tribute to the Punjabi rapper and politician Sidhu Moosewala with flower and folded hands emoji.
He also mentioned that, :Sidhu nal Ek Alag hi level di attachment si within people all around the globe. Eh kamayi si Sidhu di life di.”
For those who don’t know, Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Jawaharke village of Punjab’s Mansa district. The incident took place a day after his security was withdrawn by the AAP government in Punjab among 424 others despite their being a serious threat assesment to Sidhu’s life. The death of the singer has left his fans in a truly deep shock.
