UAE is set to host another fantastic T20 league where various stars across the globe will play, know the teams in the 2023 edition
Top corporates of India have invested in the Franchises of the league including Adani Group. The Company has emerged as one of the biggest brands in the global market. To enhance their business and popularity they have bought a franchise in UAE T20 League.

The emirates cricket board has made a big statement in world cricket by launching a T20 tournament. It will consist of 6 teams. A total of 34 matches will be played to decide the winner of the tournament.
4 overseas players are allowed in one team playing 11.
Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, and KKR will also have their teams
The tournament will have 6 teams competing in a 34-match competition, including Reliance Industries Limited, Adani Sportsline, Kolkata Knight Riders, Lancer Capital, GMR Group and Capri Global. Knight Riders Group has the rights to own and operate the Abu Dhabi franchise and will establish Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (ADKR) as an integral part of the UAE’s premier T20 league.
IPL’s big three franchises have also participated in the tournament. They will have their separate teams in the tournament. The three-team will get the special privilege to pick any four players of their choice in the draft picks. Star IPL players like Andre Russel, Faf Duplessis, Tim David, and Rashid Khan can be seen playing in the tournament.
UAE always comes up with a surprise and thrill when it comes to cricket Leagues. Earlier UAE hosted a new format of the game called T10 League. Top players across the globe participated in the tournament. It was a success as the league generated a good amount of revenue. Deccan gladiator won the title in the recent edition of the tournament.
Adani Group’s first major Cricket franchise
Its the first major cricket franchise of Adani Groups after failing to win the bid in IPL 2022. The company has annual revenue of over US$20 Billion and is spread over 50 countries in the world. Adani’s were always looking for a big move in sportsline. The group played a major role in building the new Narendra Modi stadium.
Braodcasting rights of UAE T20 League
Zee group has been appointed as the official broadcasting partner by the Emirates cricket board with the rights being sold for 10 years. The league will also be shown on its OTT platform Zee5.
