Street Fighter 6 was formally introduced during Sony’s State of Play event yesterday, but only a few characters were verified, while a leak has revealed more of the SF6 lineup
The State of Play from yesterday was great. Capcom’s first look at SF6 revealed more than just the game’s new art design, and the creators announced that it will have an open-world option. Everything appears to be amazing, but this is yet just a few familiar or returning faces have been confirmed.
Street Fighter 6 Roster, Characters List, Leaks, Release Date
The majority of the new characters depicted in the photographs match the descriptions provided by Reddit user DasVergeben in a leak from a few months ago.

- Chun-Li
- Ryu
- Jake
- Jamie
All the above were depicted in the trailer as playable fighters during the State of Play. They have a new painting style that is still outrageous but tries to look more realistic, as shown in Chun-face. Li’s

A Street Fighter 6 roster breach has surfaced, revealing a list of unverified SF6 characters.

On Thursday night, Capcom released the first gameplay footage from Street Fighter 6, indicating that the sequel will have a single-player adventure mode.
Cammy and Dee Jay from Super Street Fighter II, Akuma in Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Juri of Super Street Fighter IV, & Ed and Rashid from Street Fighter V are among the returning characters.
A Mexican fighter named Lily, a dreadlocked American fighter named Kimberley, and a mystery clawed Chinese fighter named A.K.I. are among the new characters.
“Powered by Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine, the game spans three distinct game modes, including Fighting Ground, World Tour and Battle Hub,” Capcom said.
It added: “From iconic World Warriors like Ryu and Chun-Li to the final addition to the SFV roster Luke, and the new expert breakdancer / drunken boxer Jamie, players will have a wide range of fighting styles and skills to master.” The game has gotten a release date of 2023.
