Season 1 of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) kicked-off with 24 teams competing in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Open Challenge (BMOC) 2022 Round 4.
The road ahead will only become tougher as the finest teams from across the country compete many times from May 19 to June 12 for a total prize pool of INR 2,00,00,000 ($260,054 USD), which Krafton describes as “the greatest prize pool in Indian esports history.”

BMPS Season 1 Schedule, Date, And Format
The top 16 teams will advance to the Grand Finals, which will be held from the 9th to the 12th of June, based on their performance in all of the matches.
Six matches will be played each day, for a total of 24 matches over the four days, and the team with the most cumulative points will be declared BMPS Season 1 champion.

BMPS Season 1 Latest Standings, Week 2 Preview, Dominance of OR Sports, and Rise of Team XO
OR Esports snatched the lead from Team Soul and crossed the 450-point mark first in the second week of BMPS First Season. In the 16 games they played, the team scored a remarkable 256 points. In their 32 matchups, OR Esports has won nine chicken dinners. Erangel had five chicken meals, Miramar had two, while Sanhok and Vikendi each got one.
Team XO, which began the week in 17th place, has climbed 15 spots to take second place. This massive increase demonstrates their consistency this week. Because Team Soul only managed 126 points this week, they fell to third place, while Hydra Official climbed into the top five.

The teams ranked 16th through 21st are fairly evenly matched, so the final week will be exciting to watch.
The bottom-ranked teams in the competition have a chance to get to the top 16 if they perform well. Because OR leads by more than 100 points, the race for first place is tight, but anything can happen in esports.
