On the opening day of the Jack’s Dutch Darts Championship in Zwolle on Friday, Danny Jansen beat Vincent van der Voort in a thrilling all-Dutch match.
Dutch Darts Championship 2022 Tournament Format
In the second round, the top 16 qualifiers from the PDC ProTour Order of Merit on March 16 were seeded. The remaining 32 slots were filled by players from six qualifying tournaments, including 24 spots in the Tour Card Holder Qualifier.
All matches in the first, second, third, and quarterfinal rounds will play the best of 11 legs. In all semi-final matches, the best of 13 legs format will be used. A Best of 15 Legs format will be used for the final.

In their first round tie at the IJsselhallen, rising sensation Jansen extended his rise by defeating Dutch legend Van der Voort. Jansen rallied from 4-2 and 5-4 deficits, surviving three match darts in the last leg to earn a second-round match against Michael Smith.
With victories over Rene Eidams and Arjan Konterman, Jermaine Wattimena and Danny Noppert join Rene Eidams and Arjan Konterman in Saturday’s round two. Wattimena beat Eidams 6-3 to advance to the second round, where he will face world number one Peter Wright, while Noppert beat Konterman 6-0 to meet Martin Schindler.
After two-time ProTour event champion Jelle Klaasen thrashed Sebastian Bialecki 6-1, Michael van Gerwen will face Jelle Klaasen in one of the round two ties.
