Chokli And HaaRCB Memes Trend On Twitter After RCB Lose IPL 2022 Qualifier 2 vs Rajasthan Royals
RR won the toss and bowled first
Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to bowl first. As RCB came to bat first, Kohli was tormented by Trent Boult’s lines and length as he sought to rip loose in the early overs of the game.
He also smashed a six off Boult in the opening over of the game, prompting analysts to say that the old Virat Kohli had returned following a few strong games in the IPL.
However, the introduction of Prasidh Krishna provided an unexpected breakthrough for the Royals, as Kohli walked off by edging back to the keeper. Commentator Simon Doull described the shot as a “nothing shot” by the player. He also didn’t have to go out on a short ball thrown outside the off stump.
Supporters were outraged by Kohli’s dismissal, with some urging that he should go back and repair his techniques in an old-fashioned way, by working at the domestic set up and some fans started trending #Chokli as they think Kohli always chokes nowadays in pressure situations. He’s also yet to win a major trophy with either the Indian cricket team or RCB in both his roles as captain and just as a batsman.

Virat Kohli has been out of touch during the IPL, and it took some luck for him to reconnect. He delivered a superb half-century against Gujarat Titans in the last group game of the IPL, propelling RCB into the playoffs.
Kohli has been out of contact for some time, and some have proposed that he and Indian captain Rohit Sharma be given a sabbatical so that they can be fresh for India in the T20 World Cup. The duo have been struggling with their form and have averaged 19 and 22 in this IPL season, respectively.
