She now plays for the Nagaland women’s team. In 2022, she set the record for the highest individual score in the Women’s Senior T20 Trophy with an undefeated 162 for Nagaland against Arunachal Pradesh.

Family and Early Life
Kiran Navgire is the daughter of a farmer and a housewife. She has two brothers. She began her sports career before pursuing a career as a cricketer. Born in 1995, she is aged 26 years and has a height between 5 feet 6 inches.
She began playing cricket during her undergraduate studies at Savitribai Phule Pune University. She played for the university cricket team without any official training from 2013–14 to 2015–16. She had also competed for Pune University in the javelin throw, shot put, and 100 metres. Her official schooling began at the Azam Campus in Pune, where she pursued a two-year study in physical education.
Career So Far
In the 2018–19 Senior Women’s One Day League, she debuted for Maharashtra. After not getting enough opportunities in the Maharashtra squad, she opted to play for Nagaland as a guest player in the 2021-22 Women’s Senior T20 Trophy.
On 15 April 2022, she became the first Indian male or woman to achieve 150+ runs in a Twenty20 innings while playing for Nagaland versus Arunachal Pradesh at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati.
She was named to the Velocity squad in preparation for the 2022 Women’s T20 Challenge.

On Thursday night, a beautiful knock by rookie Kiran Navgire lighted up the crucial match between Velocity and Trailblazers. The 26-year-old struck the quickest fifty of the Women’s T20 Challenge while chasing a massive 191-run mark at the MCA Stadium in Pune.
After Shafali Varma was dismissed, Navgire walked out to bat as Velocity were reduced to 50/2 in the fifth over. She had a strong start, playing a slog-sweep over long-on for a six against Salma Khatun. In the same over, she hit a boundary and another six, bringing her team to 68 for 2 on the powerplay.
