Vivo Keyd dominated both of the league stages and the finals, finishing first in both. They were able to do this by maintaining a balanced playstyle all through the season. Influence Rage landed in the second position in PMPL Brazil, which is unsurprising. The team has been around for a while, so their knowledge of the game was clear in their performance.
Alpha7 Esports, the defending champions and fan favourites, finished fourth in the league stages and third inside the finals. Loops Esports finished fourth after returning from a one-year ban, while PMPL Americas season 2 runners-up Rise Esports did not qualify this time.
Aton Esports is the better squad in the region, and their performance reflected that. Despite being ordinary in the league stages, the defending PMPL champions came out on top inside the finals once again.
XSET was capable of defending their title despite an unimpressive showing throughout the league stage. Nova Esports NA finished second in both the season and the finals, while league champion Knights finished fourth. The Chosen NA, who qualified through the qualifiers, came in third place, surprising everyone.
This event has a total prize pool of $150k, with the winner receiving $40,000. At 3 a.m. IST, PUBG Mobile Esports will stream the action live on its channel.
