On Tuesday night, 49ers defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw, a former first-round draught selection, went off on a reporter, calling him a “little d*** n****” and telling him to “stop f***ing messing with me,” with the Grant Cohn video now viral
The furious exchange took place on Grant Cohn’s YouTube channel after the two had a disagreement at San Francisco’s scheduled team exercise earlier in the day. Kinlaw, according to Cohn, sought him out on the field during the practice, yelled at him, and then knocked his hat off his head.

Cohn was breaking down the incident – and other parts of the Niners’ practice – hours later on a YouTube live stream. Kinlaw called in and started cursing the media member.
Kinlaw berated Cohn repeatedly while eating, apparently angry by the manner Cohn had previously attacked him and his colleagues.
“I’m a man like you,” Kinlaw said over the torrent. “Brother, my nuts are bigger than yours. Give my name some respect. Brother, my balls are larger than yours. Give my name some respect.”
Kinlaw shouted at Cohn for almost six minutes… and throughout the diatribe, he made a nasty reference to his past altercation with the reporter.
“All I know is that when I walked upon you, your f***ing body temperature was as frigid as ice,” Kinlaw explained. “Straight girl. Your f***ing balls have shriveled. Little d*** n**** Stop f***ing teasing me, bruh.”
Kinlaw said, “You don’t f***ing know who I am. You mother f***ers don’t know me like that, bruh. Stop fooling around with me. I’m not the right person. I’m not the one for you, bruh. My entire family recognizes your appearance.”
Cohn subsequently stated on Twitter that he saw the statement as a threat.
Kinlaw ultimately exited the creek without incident. We’ve reached out to the 49ers for comment, but have yet to hear back.
Kinlaw, who was selected by the Niners with the 14th overall choice in the 2020 NFL Draft, has appeared in 16 games with the 49ers, recording 1.5 sacks.
